Congratulations!!! To become as a mum for a cute little baby. Now this is high time to know about common myths and facts about pregnancy.

Common Myths

1. Size doesn’t matter - You cannot predict the sex of the baby by seeing the shape and size of the tummy. Size depends on the gestation age of the baby not on the sex.

2. Glow in the face of the pregnant women doesn’t imply the sex.

3. Stretch marks in the tummy after birth is a permanent one. No! It can be prevented by taking diet rich in fresh fruits and vegetables This will make your skin soft and supple to prevent stretch marks in your stomach.

Common Facts

1. You should avoid tobacco as well as self-medication during pregnancy. this will cause fetal anomaly. (Quit smoking!!!)

2. Say no to alcohol !

3. Coloring of the hairs during the first trimester of pregnancy as the chemicals will get absorbed by the scalp, which in turn injurious to the health of the baby.

4. Avoid high heel footwear. Using high heels may cause strain on the abdomen as well as back pain. sometimes you will get imbalance and may fall off.

5. The pregnant women should not eat stomach full. Divide the total number of feeding time. (say 5-6 times a day instead of three full meals per day)
