I have asked most of my elders to get an idea about home remedies for mesothelioma. Nobody answered for my query. I searched the net for home remedies for mesothelioma. Here also I have ended with no solution. Is there any? I think there is no such cure.

The main reason for this is that this is a chronic disease, which is present in the body of the patient for more than 20 years. The only option is chemotherapy or radiation. The main objective of treating mesothelioma is destroying malignant cells and preserving healthy ones.

A recent advancement in the treatment of mesothelioma is extrapleural pneumonectomy. This procedure involves surgical resection of diaphragm, pericardium, pleurectomy and removal of affected lung. Then application of  cisplatin or GEMzar over the affected area to remove affected malignant cell. Pericardium and diaphragm will be reconstructed with prosthetic material.

So, it is always better to go for chemotherpay rather than home remedies for mesothelioma

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is primarily caused by exposure to asbestos. Not all forms of mesothelioma are caused by exposure to asbestos. Some forms of mesothelioma are caused by smoking also. It is better to treat mesothelioma during the initial stages and not to wait for treatment until it reaches an advanced stage. During the advanced stage of mesothelioma some of the treatments like surgeries cannot be performed on the patient due to overgrowth of cancerous cells. It may eventually lead to the death of the patient. Look for mesothelioma symptoms and take action immediately.

Once a person sees some of the mesothelioma symptoms he has to check with a doctor whether he has mesothelioma in him. Regular checkups of the thoracic region and the abdominal region would help in identifying mesothelioma at an earlier stage. Persons who are exposed to asbestos by working in such environments should voluntarily check themselves in mesothelioma clinics. Mesothelioma symptoms differ with the type of mesothelioma the patient has. Some of the types of mesothelioma are Pleural mesothelioma, peritoneal mesothelioma, and pericardial mesothelioma.

Mesothelioma symptoms are caused by the growth of the cancer cells and the pressure applied on the nerves and organs of the body by these cancer cells. Swallowing difficulties, breathing difficulties, cough, weight loss, sweating, pain in the back or the sides of the chest are some of the mesothelioma symptoms. These symptoms are also caused by some other diseases and it should not be left unattended. If you are exposed to asbestos environment or if you are addicted to smoking and have any of these symptoms then there are chances of you having mesothelioma. Consult a doctor immediately so that you can identify the disease at an earlier stage to commence treatment successfully. You should know that mesothelioma symptoms do not occur at the early stages and when the symptoms occur it is due to the pressure applied by the cancerous cells on the nerves and other organs.

The peritoneal mesothelioma is caused in the abdomen region. Abdomen pain or stomach pain, abdomen swelling, poor appetite, weight loss, and diarrhea / constipation are some of the peritoneal mesothelioma symptoms. It is better to consult your doctor and do the diagnosis since these symptoms are similar to the symptoms of other diseases. If you are working in an industry that exposes you to asbestos then you should promptly approach a doctor when you get these mesothelioma symptoms.

Pericardial mesothelioma is a rare form of mesothelioma which is also linked to asbestos. The cancer in these cases is due to the cancerous growth in the tissues surrounding the heart. Chest pain, dyspnea, cough and palpitations are the pericardial mesothelioma symptoms that you can experience if you have it. Diagnosis is done using X-Ray or CT scan if the doctor identifies these mesothelioma symptoms. There are many mesothelioma clinics available across the USA and you can avail the services offered by these clinics. Experts are available in these clinics to diagnose and give the necessary form of treatment for mesothelioma patients. Some of the patients who have excess fluid in the chest cavities are given procedures like thoracentesis and paracentesis.
