Earache is a common condition
reported in children than in adults. Do you know that bad cold and

Earache
occurs mainly due to infection of the outer and middle ear due to
the above reported two major conditions. The symptoms of outer ear
infection are mild itching, pain, swelling and
discharge but however, middle ear infection
results in mild pain, fever and occasional
discharge. A person feels more pain when he lies down since
the throat muscles are not used and the Eustachian tubes
gets more congested.

Avoid dairy products
like milk, butter, cheese etc that tend to aggravate ear infection
and use of vitamin C rich foods will help in boosting the immune
system.
The antibiotic qualities
of garlic can be very effectively used by using
few drops of the juice in the paining ear. About four or five cloves
of garlic can be burnt in linseed oil, filtered and stored. This
oil can also be applied twice daily as an effective home
remedy for earache.
Immerse some leaves
of castor plant in warm sesame oil and applying around
the ear as a light fomentation can be very effective in relieving
earache.
Make an extract of tulsi
leaves, place it on flame and warm it a little. At a bearable
temperature apply four to five drops in the ears. This is a sure
and effective home remedy for earache.
Extract some juice
by making an incision on a banana tree and warm
it a little. Apply few drops of this in the affected ear before
going to bed. You are sure wake up with a relief in the morning.
Juice obtained from
tender mango leaves can also be warmed and few drops applied
in the affected ear is an effective home remedy for earache.
Tiny pieces of radish
can be warmed in mustard oil, filtered and a few drops
of this oil in the affected will surely bring relief from earache.
Onion juice
can also be warmed and few drops applied to the ear at night to
have a relief from earache.
If there is an access to breast milk, take an equal
quantity of breast milk and bottle gourd juice and warm it. Few
drops of it in the affected ear is a very good home remedy
for earache.
Warming few seeds
of fenugreek in mustard or linseed and using this oil in
the affected ear is a very good earache home remedy.
Clean habits in children,
covering the ears when traveling in cold winds, proper treatment
of common cold and soar throat
and avoiding loud noises are the precautions that
are suggested to prevent earache.

blood or pus discharge and swelling
