Any pain or soreness within or around

and stick to the teeth. These bacteria form acids when
they grow and eat through the covering of the teeth (enamel) causing
cavity. The pain also worsens with cold or hot food.
Toothache may also
be due to gum disease, tooth abscess, cracked
tooth and conditions that affect the jaw bone.
Toothache can also be signs of heart attack, ear infections
and sinusitis.

Good Eating Habit and Dental Health
Good and proper diet plays a prominent
role in dental health. The vital thing in dental
health is not only what a person eats but equally when he eats.
With a proper diet, it is easier to keep the teeth and jaw bones
harder and healthier.
Proper and regular cleaning
of the teeth is an important point to consider. Circular
motion with the brush enables better cleaning of the dental surfaces
and gentle massage of the gums improves the blood circulation that
keeps away bad breath.
It is very much essential to take
plenty of raw vegetables and whole wheat bread
that are rich in fibre. Fibers in the diet helps
to keep the gums firm by removing the plaque and hence are also
called detergent foods by the dentists.
Avoid or restrict
diets rich in sugar as they result in lot of acid
production in the mouth that enables the bacteria to thrive. That
is why sweets are always taken at the end of a meal rather than
between meals.
